To mark February as Suicide Prevention Monty, the Charlotte County Suicide Prevention Committee and 98.1 The Tide is please to offer the 5th annual Give a Day, Win a Weekend opportunity.

To take part simply gather your family together and decide on and organization in your community that you would like to help out.

You might consider the food bank, animal shelter or nursing home.  The ideas are endless!

Each family member can enter for every 5 hours of volunteerism.

The lucky winner will be drawn on February 27th and will receive 2 nights accommodation in a family suite at the Delta Brunswick Saint John (including breakfasts), 4 tickets to a Seadogs Game, and a $250 Visa gift card.

Old Time Christmas Concert

 

 

98.1 The Tide and the St. Stephen Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to an Old Time Country Christmas Concert, Sunday, December 14^th at St. Stephen High School Auditorium. Many local entertainers including Ron Brisley, Malcolm Barcley, Jessi Smith, Valley Gospel Singers, Adam Olmstead , Ron Hall & Friends and the Desperadoes. Plus, someone in the audience will win $200 in Christmas Cash. Admission $8 for adults, $5 for children under 12.

Tickets available at Stuart's Gifts, The Saint Croix Courier and at the door if any remain.

It's an Old Time Country Christmas Concert, proudly sponsored by 98.1 The Tide.

 

The Tide's Annual Toy Drive

The Tide's Annual Toy Drive will be held at Canadian Tire on Saturday, December 6th from 10-2.  All the toys collected will be donated to the Family Resource Center of Charlotte County and Operation Christmas Joy.

Tide Radiothon raises almost $71,000

Thank You to everyone who donated to The Tide's Radiothon that was held on Oct 9, 2014 at the Charlotte County Hospital.  We raised a staggering $70,792 for the Mammography Campaign at CCH.

Thursday, October 9th RADIOTHON

98.1 The Tide will hold a 12 hour Radiothon at the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, October 9th from 6am - 6pm.  All money raised from the Radiothon will go to the Mammography Fundraising Campaign at the Charlotte County Hospital.  

The Tide's Morning Show is in good hands with Jessi Smith for the next couple weeks.
I'm taking a little vacation time and will be back On The Air on Tuesday, September 2nd.

St. Patricks "Word of the Day" Contest

The Tide's St. Patricks Word Of The Day Contest starts on Monday, March 4th.
To have a chance to win the "Pot of Gold", you must listen and collect all 10 words.
There will be 10 words in total at the end of the contest. 
Listen daily (Monday through Friday) at 7:15am for the St. Patricks Word of the Day.
If you miss it at 7:15am, it will be announced again at 5:15 in the afternoon.
(The words will NOT be posted on our Website or Facebook)

Once we say all 10 words, then on Monday, March 18th during The Tide's Morning Show, Mark will select the correct caller to test them to see if they know all 10 words.  If they do, they WIN!

The Tide's Marathon Food Drive

The Tide's 11th Annual Marathon Food Drive will be held at the St. Stephen Superstore on Friday, January 25th from 5pm - 9pm and again on Saturday, January 26th from 10am - 2pm.

The Tide will be broadcasting "On Location" at the event and raising food donations for our local food bank, Volunteer Center of Charlotte County.
